Complete the Didactic Portion Online
The Didactic Portion of the course is completed online. The student will complete interactive lectures, topic related assignments and chapter quizzes. Students will also have access to various supplementary material and specific enhancements.
Complete Clinical
ONLINE Simulations
The Clinical with SIMTICS you can learn and practice the key clinical skills that Medical Assistants perform in a physician’s office, so you’ll be better prepared for your labs and externships. Learn how to get ready for each procedure, the correct steps to perform it safely, and the consumables, instruments and equipment you’ll be using.
Psychomotor
Portion
This is the hands-on portion of the course. The Psychomotor Portion of the course is completed at a Tennessee Training Site in Nashville, Tennessee. Students will complete a clinical Skills Intensive Day, a Trauma Skills Practice, and an CCMA Psychomotor Skills Testing Day. These are scheduled in advance, so students can arrange their schedules accordingly.
